yesterday i tried bleaching an ion blue dye out of my hair and the roots are nearly white, however the length is still a powdery blue. i cannot bleach my hair again. I want to put psychedelic sunset (MP) mixed with Flame (Punky Colour) on top with cotton candy pink (MP) on the ends of my hair. My question is what will happen if i put these colors over the light blue? Will it come out okay? Thanks!

Blue and orange make brown, so unless the blue is quite light you will get a muddy orange. the pink will come out more purple. Bleach is not the best way to remove any direct dye, and ions blues are notoriously difficult to get out. have a look for fading methods in the articles section. the bleach powder/shampoo/oils method has been successful on ion blues.

im sorry i should have specified. My hair is currently a blondish blue. It is mainly blonde with hints of blue on the length. I have tried the vitamin c treatments and nothing seems to be getting this bluish tint out. Should i try the vitamin c with oil thing again?

If it is light then the orange should cover, orange dyes are usually pretty forgiving. Try it on a strand where the blue is darkest
